A JOSH Flanagan goal early in the second half was enough to decide this close fought encounter.
Bury had a lot of possession in the first half, and early on Callum Page headed over.
In the 16th minute, Alex Prosser’s low free kick for Banbury almost caught out Ryan Dunne with Joel Anker lurking at the near post. Soon after, Chris Wreh fired in a shot that Dunne tipped away at full-stretch.
Alex Worley sent a 20 yard effort wide of the target with Dunne at full stretch.
