ALEXANDER SPARKS WIN TO BOOST A PLAY-OFF BID

LEISTON boosted their play-off chances by earning a Suffolk derby victory over AFC Sudbury.
The home side were on top in the opening stages and Liam Pearce hit a good shot on the turn but was denied by the inside of the post.
Not long after, Jack Stone had the ball in the net for Sudbury but the flag was up for offside.
Two minutes later Leiston, against the run of play, took the lead.
Adam Mills drilled a cross along the ground which was parried by keeper Jack Munson to Fraser Alexander who fired into the back of the net.
