Brig go back-to-back as Seasiders do battle

WHITBY Town have breathing space from the division’s bottom three, moving three points clear of the relegation zone with a gritty 1-1 draw at Bamber Bridge.
The result marks consecutive draws for play-off chasing Brig, who lose further ground on their fellow promotion rivals to now sit seventh after results elsewhere.
However, it was the hosts who led after just four minutes through Jamie Allen.
