LUKE Hunter’s 88th-minute winner sent the drenched home support into raptures as ten-man Workington edged past Morpeth Town in atrocious conditions.
With both short on victories since the turn of the year, a draw looked inevitable.
The players endured mud-bath conditions and there was even a hint of an abandonment at half-time.
Yet the referee was determined to finish what he began and for the first time this season, the Reds recorded consecutive home victories courtesy of their home debutant.
