WITTON Albion recorded another statement win and put a dent in Vauxhall Motors’ play-offs hopes.
Joe Edwards steered Deji Sotona’s cutback to put the hosts in front, but the contest didn’t restart until close to 20 minutes later after an assistant referee was taken ill.
Alfie Bairstow’s close-range header doubled the lead before the break.
