STOURBRIDGE salvaged a precious point in their battle to beat the drop thanks to a second half strike from Jack Newall against Kettering.
It looked as though ex-Stourbridge boss Liam McDonald would haunt his old side after Kettering snatched a 21st minute lead through the impressive Preston Bitemo.
It was Bitemo who delivered a precise defence-splitting pace just four minutes earlier to put Ismael Fatadjo in the clear but alert Glassboys goalkeeper Charlie Price raced off his line to smoother the chance.
