TWO second-half goals were the difference as Whyteleafe secured a home victory to cement their playoff position.
The local derby started in relatively quiet fashion with the deadlock not broken in the first half.
However, in the 65th minute, Leafe opened the scoring when Aaron Goode took charge of a free-kick 25 yards out from goal and bent the ball beyond the hand of Max Foulkes.
Merstham were given plenty of time to find an equaliser as eight minutes of stoppage time were added, but it was the hosts who grabbed the second goal...
