Long day for Valley as Town eye the play-offs

BILLERICAY took full advantage of Cray’s inability to keep 11 players on the pitch for the third consecutive home fixture – and in doing so ensured their promotion prospects gathered more forward momentum.
Two first-half strikes from midfielder Callum Watts and further goals from Frankie Merrifield and Elliot Long after the interval gave the Blues a comfortable victory and cemented their place in the play-off places.
