Which non-league sides will take part in the FA Trophy third qualifying round?

The FA Trophy third qualifying round draw is in, with 64 ties set for September 26 as Step 3 clubs enter the competition.

The FA Trophy third qualifying round draw has been made, with 64 ties set to take place on Saturday, September 26th as 88 Step 3 clubs enter the competition.

The second qualifying round produced plenty of goals and drama across the weekend, with Faversham Town hitting six against Horley Town and Matlock Town putting five past Nuneaton Town.

Hastings United also edged a south-coast derby against Bognor Regis on penalties after a 1-1 draw, while several other ties went to the spot-kicks.

Now, the surviving clubs know exactly what stands between them and the first round proper.

When will the third qualifying round take place?

The default date for all 64 ties is Saturday 26 September 2026, with kick-offs scheduled for 3pm – however, ties could be moved in advance.

What is the FA Trophy prize money?

There is £2,450 on offer to every winning club in the third qualifying round, while losing sides receive £625.

When are the next rounds?

The first round proper is scheduled for Saturday 24 October, when the competition will move into the next stage.

The final will take place at Wembley on Sunday 16 May 2027.
