GOALS from James Edmondson and Luke Duffy boosted Macclesfield’s play-off chances with a victory at the Tameside Stadium against Curzon Ashton.
Ex-Curzon player Isaac Buckley-Ricketts thought he had put the Silkmen ahead after ten minutes but his low driven shot was cleared off the line.
After a short delay just before half-time due to a medical emergency in the crowd, Macclesfield made a positive response when James Edmondson turned home a cross at the back post to put Macclesfield ahead.
