Scott Easterlow insists the lure of the Leamington manager’s job overwhelmed any worries about the potential impact on his Racing Club Warwick legacy.
Having guided the Racers from Step 6 to Step 4 and two county cup finals across his two spells in charge, Easter-low made the five-mile hop to take over a Brakes side that is rock bottom of National League North.
The move brings him full circle having featured as a striker for hometown club Leamington’s academy before earning a spot in the senior side under Jason Cad-den in the 2000s.
