TORQUAY UNITED secured their first win under new manager Jimmy Ball as they defeated Horsham at Plainmoor.
United edged ahead on eight minutes as Dylan Morgan found the back of the net with a low drive after playing an incisive one-two with Dan Hayfield to score his eighth of the campaign. In the 14th minute, Horsham won successive corners – the second of which was cleared as far as Danny Barker who fired over. Deon Moore turned home a cross from Morgan – only to see his effort was ruled offside.
