■EGHAM snatched a late
victory at Horndean to keep their play-off hopes alive.
The relegation-threatened hosts started brightly and broke the deadlock 17 minutes in, with a cross nodded across goal for Ryan Carroll to finish and open the scoring. Horndean deservedly doubled their lead through Kevin Ngombi’s thumping header. Egham’s resurgence began when skipper Ben Peden scored after 51 minutes.
