AN astonishing game saw
■ Aylesbury come within two goals of matching their all-time scoring record.
The annihilation looked on track to eclipse the previous record of 12-1, set in 1901 against Windsor & Eton in the FA Amateur Cup. However, despite being nine to the good with 35 minutes to go, they eased off.
Lee Stobbs led the way with a hat-trick inside the opening 39 minutes, with George Cleveland, Kian Henry, Frankie Bircham and Finlay Reeves also on target in a stunning first-half display.
