WIMBORNE TOWN left the Wyatt Homes Stadium empty-handed, after a narrow Good Friday defeat to high-flying Farnham.
The Magpies headed into the fixture with confidence after a dramatic three-goal-turnaround at Uxbridge and would have hoped to build further. Monday’s game, away at Poole Town, will give them a chance for resurrection. Billy Clifford’s effort after 66th-minutes proved enough for Farnham, who themselves face Bracknell Town on Easter Monday.
