■YATELEY United have been promoted to the Wessex Premier Division for the first time after thrashing Whitchurch United 6-1 in the play-off final at Sean Devereux Park.
The Hampshire club beat Colden Common 2-1 in the semi-finals in a reversed fixture due to Winchester City’s play-off commitments.
The other semi saw Whitchurch beat Folland Sports 1-0 thanks to a Connor Thorne goal.
Harvey Seeman put Yateley ahead in the final after just five minutes and they doubled their lead on the stroke of half-time thanks to Lynford Sackey.
