Scott Davies’s return to Aldershot Town has been half a lifetime in coming – but there is no doubt that it was always going to happen.
As an all-action midfielder, the teenage Davies fired the Shots into the EFL in 2008. Now, after replacing John Coleman as manager, the 38-year-old has left Slough Town to fulfil what might almost be his destiny.
