King Kev hailed by Shrimpers after exit

AS A Last Dance goes, there is no better arena in the country than Wembley.
Kevin Maher hoisted aloft the FA Trophy with one hand high above his head to salute the army of Southend United fans who call him ‘King Kev’.
During the celebrations as the fans urged him to dish out the, now football tradition, three fist bumps, he initially resisted, tapping his hand on his heart to signal his love and gratitude to the 22,000-plus ticket holders.
