Glen’s next on Steelmen spree

REDCAR Athletic boss Carl Jarrett has continued his summer spending spree with the signing of experienced midfielder Glen Butterworth from Stockton Town.
Butterworth joins the NPL East champions after making 126 appearances for the Anchors, scoring 13 goals, including a hugely important penalty in their 2023/24 play-off final win over Dunston.
He becomes Jarrett’s sixth signing of the summer joining defensive pair Ciaran Banks and Connor Smith, former Shildon duo Andrei Ardelean and Luke Spalding and ex-Whitby midfielder Lewis Hawkins as the Steelmen prepare for their first ev...
