VETERAN goalkeeper Laurie Walker says he has fulfilled a lifelong dream by signing for hometown club
Bedford Town.
The former Barnet, Stevenage and Oldham stopper, 36, was a free agent after leaving Solihull Moors at the end of last season and says he jumped at the chance to sign for Harry Smart’s Eagles.
“I’m buzzing,” said Walker, who has also played in the EFL for Morecambe and MK Dons. “As a Bedford-born lad, it’s always been a dream to represent my hometown club, so this move means a lot to me”.
