Mickey Spillane is hoping a summer shake-up can put Cambridge City in the thick of the Isthmian North promotion race.
The Lilywhites finished bang in the middle of the pack last season with 14 wins, 14 draws and 14 defeats.
Spillane, who left the management staff at Chelmsford City where he still leads the academy, joined City last October after a slow opening to their first full season in their new FWD-IP Community Stadium.
By December the club had tied the 37-year-old down to a three-year deal such was his impact.
