Choughs churn out ground deal

RETFORD FC’S return to the Northern Counties East League after winning the United Counties Division One title has been boosted by a new ground sponsorship agreement.
As part of a two-year deal, the Rail Ground will be officially renamed the Green Bros. Rail Stadium, after the family-run plumbing and electrical wholesale business.
Choughs chairman Chris Woodhead said: “The Green family have supported the club for many years and play an active role in our junior section, so they’re very much part of the DNA of Retford FC.
