SHRIMPS MAY GO LEGAL TO REFUTE IFR CASE

MORECAMBE say they are taking legal advice after becoming the first football club to face action from football’s new Independent Football Regulator (IFR).
The Shrimps were issued with a warning notice after two of the club’s directors, Kuljit Singh Momi and Harjit Singh, failed to respond to requests for information about the running of the club, breaching Section 65 of the Football Governance Act.
It is the first time the IFR has taken action since the Act was passed into law a year ago.
