FOREST Green Rovers boss Robbie Savage has praised Laurent Mendy on completing his move to Hearts after a heavy defeat against Championship new boys Cardiff City.
“I’m delighted for Mendy,” Savage said. “We knew from January that he wanted to go and fulfil a dream, we have allowed him to do that. I could have kept him. They met the valuation. He had two years left on his contract, we could have kept him, what an opportunity for him!”
