RAMPANT GULLS GIVE BLUEBIRDS A PASTING

TORQUAY United continued their preparations for another tilt at promotion from National League South with a commanding performance against Cardiff City Under-21s.
The Gulls started brightly as Callum Morton found the back of the net on six minutes, but his strike was ruled out for offside.
United opened the scoring a minute later, when skipper Matt Worthington drilled a low effort into the bottom corner.
Moments later, Deon Moore tapped home from close range after Sonny Blu Lo-Everton’s shot was parried by Bluebirds keeper Jake Dennis.
