No symmetry in FA Cup openers

I DON’T think it’s a good idea that the FA Cup Extra Preliminary round games are played a week later than last year.
Taking place on the day when other Step 4 clubs were playing their first league game is no way to start a season.
With FA Cup and FA Trophy games, clubs are also playing up to eight times from August 8 to the end of the month – a crazy situation which puts a lot of pressure on the players.
