WHEN CHORLEY were going for promotion from the Northern Premier League, new signings would sometimes get a call from The Non-League Paper.
They’d chat away, going through their hopes and ambitions at the upwardly mobile Magpies.
Then when they turned up for their first game, their answers had been printed out and pinned to the changing room wall.
