■ ALVECHURCH made progress after beating Racing Club Warwick at Lye Meadow.
Goals from Nick Clayton-Phillips, Miracle Okafor and Kieran Wakefield were enough for safe passage for the Southern League Premier Central side.
Church led thanks to Clayton-Phillips’ neat finish into the bottom left corner after 16 minutes.
Okafor doubled the lead seven minutes later, and the hosts had an ideal start to proceedings. The visitors gave themselves hope of a comeback as Archie Hamp reduced the deficit in firsthalf stoppage time.
