■ HUNGERFORD needed two second-half goals to finally end Slimbridge’s brave challenge.
The first chance fell to the Swans after five minutes, Casey Collins heading Jack Smith’s cross over the bar.
In the 15th minute, having already gone close, the Crusaders took the lead through Sheldon Wright and, four minutes later, James Clark crashed a shot off the Slimbridge crossbar.
After half an hour, Alex Bell fed Olly Sully and his ball fell to Smith, who equalised for Slimbridge.
