County FAs don’t help

IN RESPONSE to Mike Hall’s letter in last week’s NLP, my local team Hayes & Yeading have played only three home league games so far and had our first away game at Cobham on Tuesday night.
After that, our next league game is not scheduled until October 3 – and even that could well be postponed due to another cup game.
Now, to add to this, the Middlesex FA have insisted that our county cup against Hendon be played on September 22, replacing another scheduled league game.
