THREE AFC Hayes players have been suspended from all footballing activity after admitting multiple breaches of The FA’s Betting Rules.
Striker Lawrence Shennan has been handed a two-year ban and fined ÂŁ580.20, a figure that includes a ÂŁ320.20 net profit he made on bets he placed.
Goalkeeper Ben Goode will spend a year on the sidelines and has been fined ÂŁ606.42, ÂŁ456.42 of which was net profit made from bets.
Chevy Hart, a defender who is no longer with the Southern League Division One Central outfit, has been banned from football for four months and fined ÂŁ145.65, which includes the ÂŁ45.65 net profit from bets.
Shennan and Goode have requested written reasons for the bans and fines before they decide whether to appeal The FA’s ruling.
