PEOPLE have been asking if we can keep up our positive opening to the season. As I tell everyone, it’s just a good start. End of. We’re only seven games in. Obviously I am delighted we’ve won six and drawn one, but I’ve said before I believe the National League South this year is the toughest it’s ever been.
There are still 34 games to play, with 102 points up for grabs. So it’s just a good start. I don’t get carried away.
I’m not one of these managers who breaks the season down into blocks of five or ten games with a points target at the end of each section. I ...
