Canterbury City are now plying their trade in the Kent County League.

I’ve been following an intriguing modern-day Canterbury Tale – although it is being portrayed in football language rather than dense Chaucer prose.

Let me explain. To preserve their ongoing existence, Canterbury City opted to voluntarily pull out of the National League System for this season.
They had finished a creditable sixth in the Southern Counties East League First Division at Step 6 during 2024/25 but have subsequently regrouped in Kent County League Premier Division circles.
