LAST week, the government launched a survey of fans to canvas their views on football governance. You’ve got until July 22 to take part.
The first question posed is “Do you consider the current English football regulatory structure fit for purpose?” A question that, in the absence of explanation, invites ‘No’ responses in their hundreds of thousands - especially if you are a fan of Bury, Macclesfield or any other club that has fallen by the wayside.
