Pitchside at Boreham Wood on Tuesday night, York City manager Stuart Maynard talked about how he expects the National League lead to keep flipping and flopping.
Wood’s 3-2 win over Maynard’s ten-man Minstermen – just their third defeat of the season and first in 24 games – opened the door for Rochdale to return to the summit with a 3-2 win over Brackley Town on the same evening. It moved Jimmy McNulty’s side two points clear, with one game in hand.
