Jake Robinson leaves Billericay for Maidstone United

South top goalscorer Jake Robinson has sensationally left to link up with his former manager Harry Wheeler at
The 32-year-old frontman enjoyed a record breaking campaign last season as he fired an outstanding 57 goals to help the Essex side to the Bostik Premier title, but has become the latest big name to leave the club this week following Dean Inman, Scott Doe, Adam Cunnington and Ricky Modeste out of the door.
Robinson continued in a similar vain at Step 2 level, scoring 13 league goals to leave Dean Brennan's side in fifth position in the table.
Before joining Ricay, Robinson played in the League for the likes of Shrewsbury Town, and Luton Town and enjoyed a prolific campaign during the 2014-15 season with .
Speaking to the club's official website,  Wheeler said: “Jake is somebody I have wanted since I've been here and we have worked relentlessly to get him.
“There was a lot of interest in him, so to get this transfer over the line is a very positive move for the club.
“He is a natural goalscorer with over 100 goals in two and a half years. He has sixteen already this season, he is a pure finisher and he will add a lot to this group.”
