ENGLAND C boss Paul Fairclough has named two debutants in the team to take on Slovakia Under-23 in Poprad this afternoon.

Barnet right-back Andy Yiadom gets his first start for the Three Lions with FC Halifax’s Marc Roberts also winning his first cap in the heart of the defence.

Fraser Franks, who is looking to go out from the international set-up on a high after winning promotion to the Football League with Luton, and left-back Mickey Demetriou make up the back four.

James Norwood, who has four goals in four England C appearances, has overcome a hamstring strain that has limited his participation in training this week to start up front.

He’ll be flanked by Barnet’s Keanu Marsh-Brown and Salisbury City winger Elliott Frear as Fairclough adopts a 4-3-3 formation.

The powerful midfield three will be made up of Matty Pearson, Dan Bradley and Josh Payne.

Dover Athletic keeper Mitch Walker will pull on the No.1 jersey.

Kick-off is 2pm GMT – follow @MattBadcock_NLP for updates.

England C (4-3-3): Walker; Yiadom, Roberts, Franks, Demetriou; Bradley, Payne, Pearson; Marsh-Brown, Norwood, Frear. Subs: Coughlin, Marwood, Maddison, Gallagher, MacDonald, Fitzpatrick, Taylor
