ENGLAND C’s final International Challenge Trophy Group A fixture at home to Estonia Under 23s will be played at The Shay, home of FC Halifax Town.

The Three Lions continue to take their home games around the country and the fixture, on Tuesday, November 18, kicks off at 7.30pm and admission will be free.

Subject to the outcome of the trip to Turkey on Tuesday, October 14, the game could decide whether England progress to the semi-finals.

England C boss Paul Fairclough said:” The Shay is an excellent stadium and we hope that the game will have so much at stake.

“We know that, following our narrow defeat in Slovakia, we have to win both our remaining group games to advance. We hope that we can attract a big crowd on the night to cheer the team on to victory.”

FC Halifax Town chairman David Bosomworth added: “This is a great honour for the local area and Halifax in particular and we want to play our part in staging an event to be proud of and hopefully support England C’s progress in the tournament.

“We trust that mums and dads will let the younger ones have a late night and come along as families to watch an England team perform. It will be a great night and we would love support from all around the area.

“We’re looking to see a great crowd attending the stadium on the 18 November, bringing the community together for one special evening of international football whilst showing our support for Non-League players representing their country.”
