Today’s update covers the seven days between Sunday, September 21 through to Saturday, September 27.
Well we are now only three days away from our first Manager of the Month awards can you believe it. In fact, as you are reading this the month of September has finished.
The first MotM award always follows the main FNL table. So who is going to grab the first cash of the season? Well ThisIsOurTime is leading the way with 3,940pts and they are 44pts ahead of second placed Hobbiton and 46pts ahead of third placed Fathom.
Remember only the top two grab the money. The top ten is covered by only 106pts. Of course this season we have a third MotM prize. We are giving a cash prize each month to the worst team of the season. With so many of you going for bottom spot we thought it was only fair to give you guys a chance to win each month.
At the bottom it is really interesting as we have three teams on the same number of points 1.407. Two of those teams have picked the exact same twenty four teams which I think is the first time it has happened in the history of the FNL.
The three teams are Deejay Losers, The Muppets and Joshuas Jewels. The three of them are 5pts adrift from Imp Rovers and the bottom ten is covered by only 87pts.
Finally a quick mention about the monthly league leader/bottom bonuses for The Mixture league. Each of the three sections has eight teams in it from two leagues (four from each league).
The bonuses points will be determined by points, so the highest team of the eight with the most points will get 25pts and the lowest team with the least points will get the minus 25pts. Any teams on the same points will be separated by goal difference.
