THE Football Foundation’s aim as the largest sports’ charity in the UK has always been to improve facilities, create opportunities and build communities throughout England for the good of the grass-roots game.
While investing money from the Premier League, The FA and the Government, via Sport England obviously contributes hugely towards achieving this, it is also vitally important to understand what the users of facilities who play, coach and participate in any way in the grass-roots game feels about how we can improve their experience.
In order for the Foundation to do this, they have launched a new online survey to get feedback from players and coaches about their experience of using grass-roots facilities, with respondents able to enter into a prize draw to win a first prize of £200 worth of Nike vouchers and second prize of £100 of Nike vouchers.
Football Foundation ambassador Dion Dublin, said of the survey: “The Foundation is an expert at delivering top facilities so it is great to see that they are constantly striving to improve by seeking the opinions of those involved in the everyday running of grass-roots clubs.
“Hopefully the results will help with getting more money from the top of the game to lower league clubs.”
