goalkeeper Richard O’Donnell has joined Stockport County on loan for a month.

O’Donnell started out at Wednesday and for the Owls’ first team on over 20 occasions, while also spending spells on loan at , Oldham, Grimsby Town, and Town.

The 24-year-old signed a one-year deal with Chesterfield in the summer of 2012 but has been used sparingly by the Spirerites this term, starting 13 games in all competitions.

He has now dropped down a division to get further games under his belt with County and is could make his Hatters debut at home to Mansfield Town on Tuesday evening.
