LUTON TOWN have handed former Millwall and Southend United winger Dave Martin an 18-month contract.
The 27-year-old was released by the Shrimpers last week and has since been training with the Hatters.
He has now penned a permanent deal at Kenilworth Road and Hatters boss Paul Buckle has high hopes for the contribution he can make.
Speaking to the club’s website, Buckle said: “I think that Dave will definitely add to what we have got, he’s something different.
“The fans will love him, they’ll love the flair he has. He takes people on and will go past his man. He’s an out-and-out winger.
“I’d be amazed if he doesn’t improve us and I’ll be amazed that the supporters won’t take to him.”
