ROSS HANNAH believes Grimsby's win against Ebbsfleet on Tuesday shows they won't be letting the Wembley hysteria go to their heads.
The Mariners booked their March 24 trip to the home of English football last Saturday at Dartford.
With a 3-0 lead from the first leg Grimsby put in a professional performance for a 0-0 draw to ease through.
And it was straight back to Blue Square Bet Premier business on Tuesday night with a 3-1 win against Ebbsfleet as the turned attentions back to their title tilt.
Striker Hannah told The Non-League Paper: “You feel like a little kid talking about Wembley, you get a little bit giddy. But at the same time we've got a lot of important league games before the final.
“Monday was back to business at training and Tuesday we had Ebbsfleet so we had to focus on that. The gaffers (Rob Scott and Paul Hurst) made sure we've got our minds on the games coming up.
“I'm sure Liam Daish would have been telling the Ebbsfleet lads this is a good chance to play Grimsby.
“We had Dartford the week before and were down at Braintree the following Tuesday before going back down to Dartford last weekend.
“So we'd had three hard games and they maybe fancied their chances of coming up and turning us over because we'd still be thinking about Wembley.
“But as of Monday we were focused on the league again which is the most important thing for us.”
