The late Mandy Freeman’s tireless and enthusiastic efforts at Bury AFC have been given the recognition they fully deserve.
Freeman’s death earlier this month caused a wave of sadness at a club where she played a vital role as a #HerGameToo advocate, fundraiser and tunnel steward.
Whether it was club officials, teammates or supporters, they were all left grieving the loss of one of their own, who was only in her early 50s.
