Vardy and Austin go from Non-League to England internationals

FORMER stars Jamie Vardy and Charlie Austin have both been rewarded with call-ups to the England squad.

The pair will feature in the friendly against the Republic of Ireland on June 7 and the Euro 2016 qualifier against Slovenia on June 14.

Vardy, 28, helped Leicester to Premier League survival this season but originally made his name with , FC and Fleetwood Town. He was named the Non-League Player of the Year at our back in 2012.
