Ashley Smith scored in the 20th and 45th minutes, Lewis Whyton converted a penalty on the half hour and Joe Toghill added a fourth five minutes from time.

Holt United slip down to second place after drawing 2-2 with Wincanton Town.

Holt took the lead in the 27th minute only for the hosts to equalise though Michael Taylor in the 37th minute and take the lead just before the break through Andrew Holmes.

But with the last kick of the game Holt United earned a point with a goal from Shane Evans.

It was Wincanton’s third draw of the season – they remain unbeaten but slip a place to fourth.

Chickerell United moved into the top five with a 3-1 win against their hosts Sherborne Town Reserves.

Joshua Why bagged two for the Chickens and Liam Miles also found the target for the victors.

Sherborne have now lost five times this term and find themselves firmly rooted to the bottom of the table.

Bridport Reserves and Weymouth Reserves shared two goals and the points.

The Bees took the lead in the 55th minute through Jack Scovell but the Terras hit back with a goal in the 70th minute through Adam Ansty.

Tintinhull moved into mid-table with a 3-1 win against their hosts Wareham Rangers.

The away side had to come from a goal down after falling behind in the 15 minutes, Joshua Payne equalising for them before an Adam Clements double put the game beyond the Rangers.

This was the Rangers fifth defeat and they slip down to eleventh place.

Merley Cobham Sports made it five games without defeat when they beat visitors Shaftesbury Town 2-0.

Oliver Clayton and Tommy Freeman both hit second-half strikes to secure all three points for Sports, who are now 12th.

Cranborne moved out of the bottom two after their 2-1 success against their visitors from Parley Sports.

First-half efforts from Dan Loader and Adam Beatie were on the scoreline for Cranborne, while Matt Newbery was Parley’s only goalscorer.

It was the Cranes second win of the season, while the Sports were tasting defeat for the second time and slip a place to sixth place.

Poole Borough sealed a second victory of the season to move out of the bottom three by beating their visitors Blandford United 5-2.

Jessie Arnold scored twice while James Stickland, Darren Orchard and Bradley Asagba were also on target for Borough. Replying for the Royals were Simon Hyde and Daniel Snow.

Hamworthy Recreation made it four consecutive wins by battering Swanage Town & Herston 6-1.

The Rec, who were 2-0 up at half time, added a third shortly after the break but were pegged back 20 minutes from time.

However, they stepped it up again in the final quarter of the match, adding three goals to put the finishing touches to a fine win.
