BBC Radio 5 Live will be looking at whether more Non-League players can following in the footsteps of Jamie Vardy.
The show, called “Straight Outta Conference” on Tuesday, November 10 from 7.30pm to 9pm, will look at some of the untapped talent below the Football League.
Verde’s rise from Stocksbridge Park Steels to leading Premier League scorer and England international has captured the national attention.
And the BBC will be seeing if there are more Non-League players who can rise to fame like Vardy, Chris Smalling and Charlie Austin have.
They will speak to scouts, managers and players who have progressed into the professional game and see who is being talked about as a potential star.
The show, presented by George Riley and Mark Clemmit, will also include a ‘greatest Non-League XI’ of all time.
