Latest Dagenham & Redbridge recruit Kandi raring to go

‘KANDI Can Do' was the message from Dagenham & new boy Chike Kandi after joining the high-fliers from Bostik Premier side on Monday.
The 21-year-old striker spent his youth career playing Academy  at Birmingham, Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion and Brighton & Hove Albion.
But after a productive loan spell at last season, which yielded three goals in National League, Kandi reckons he is ready for another crack at senior full-time football.
“I am as happy as I can be to join Dagenham & Redbridge,” said the Welsh Under 19 international, who signed off his recent Tanners' spell with a hat-trick in the tie against .
“I've had a history in good academies such as Chelsea and Brighton, to come from there I know I have the ability to show what I can do at this level and I just need to prove it.
“It is nice to be back at this level and I have nothing to worry about as I have the experience from previously playing at Woking.”
Daggers boss has an abundance of attacking talent already at Victoria Road but was delighted with his new acquisition.
“We have been watching him for a few games, everyone has been impressed with him and we have looked at his background,” he said.
“He has had an excellent upbringing in football and we have no problems in taking this opportunity to give this young man what we give to all the young players, the opportunity to progress his career
for us and for himself.”
