Woking top scorer Inih Effiong has landed a move to Scottish Premiership side Ross County for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old striker had scored ten goals in all competitions with seven coming in his last 12 games.
This departure will come as a further blow to the Cards after Joe Ward signed for Peterborough United last week.
Woking will turn to Reece Grego-Cox, who signed following his release from QPR seven days ago, to replace Effiong’s goals.
Manager Anthony Limbrick said: “Inih’s worked hard for us since joining in the summer, and when the offer from Ross County came in Inih made it clear to us that he wanted to make the move into the Scottish Premiership.
“It’s a good opportunity for Inih to play against the likes of Celtic and Rangers, and we wouldn’t stand in the way of him doing so.”
County are currently bottom of Scotland’s top tier and head to Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup on Saturday while Woking head to Solihull Moors.
