Redditch United appoint Paul Davis as new manager

Southern Premier League club have announced that Paul Davis will become their new first team manager.
Davis, who was most recently in charge of Hellenic League club , also had a spell as manager of before leaving The Puritans in 2015.
In a statement on Redditch's official club website, Chairman Chris Swan said, “Following conversations with Chris, we are all very excited to get started. We have a clear plan on how to build a squad, with the ethos of Redditch United, and propel the club up the table.
“This is an ambitious club, with a sold infrastructure in-place, and we are all committed to ensuring we build on that and unlock its potential.
“The academy set-up is one that I advised on, and it is vital that we start integrating our best youth prospects into the first-team – if they are ready to make the step up.”
Swan continued, “On behalf of the Board of Directors, players, staff and supporters, I would like to formally welcome Paul and his coaching team to The TRICO Stadium. This pre-season promises to be a crucial one for the club, as we aim to making strides up the table and deliver results and performances that the supporters want and deserve.
“I will support Paul and his staff to ensure they have everything at their disposal to make the progress we all desire.”
Former manager Tim Harris left the Reds following their 14th-place finish this season after just five months in charge of the club.
